01.Is it necessary to have prior knowledge of any other classical arts ?
No, not necessary,  Many of our learners are not professional artists even not artists but they posses eagerness and interest to learn . Sometimes it may be easier not having to forget old habits which might interfere in new patterns.

02. I am not so young, Is it too late to start now? 
Of course not ! We have learners from 10 - 65 years of age.

03.Will I be the only foreign student or, on the contrary, will I find myself in an 'enclosed cell' of foreigners in a holiday atmosphere? 
Neither! The centre aims to maintain a traditional atmosphere where respect for the teachers and one's own studies naturally evolves. Yet the learners will not feel as if lost in an alien culture. You might find enough foreign students around and the staff at the centre as well. As for the presence of other foreigners, it is usually a joyful occasion of sharing, around the dining table. Visitors enjoy sharing their travel stories and learning experiences. 

04. In which language is the teaching conveyed? 
Even though the native language is Oriya(language of Orissa), all the teachers speak enough English to convey their teachings. When needed the staff members can also translate and help with explanations. Many visitors manage, even though they speak only French or Spanish or japanese.

05. Should I have some study material or What should i bring? 
You do not have to bring any study materials. For subjects where materials are required, we provide it in the class. The Only  belongings you have to bring with you is your own clothes.

06. Will I get a Certificate? 
Yes, We will give you a merit certificate , classifing your learning as follows;
One Month - Prathama courses ,
Two Months – Madhyama courses ,
Or Three Months - Uttama courses 
Note: This certificates are not authorized by any Universities or Bodies.

07. Will I have a chance to perform what I learn? 
Students always get a chance to perform on stage here. Students of “Uttama” course will get more than one chance to perform on stage.But it needs hard work and passion for Odissi.

08. Can we bring our children? 
Of course, you can ! Children are always welcome. They adapt easily and quickly to the tropical climate and we love them. Childrens below 5 years age are free from any charge except medical. we will also arrange classes like Painting, Mudras, Music, Martial art, percussions etc. Siblings will get a discount of 10% on course fee .

09. Is there any insurance or medical help? 
Good medical facilities are available close-by. Students are advised to obtain appropriate insurance cover from their respective countries for medical expenses, hospitalisation and repatriation if needed. In the event of a student falling ill, we will provide the student with necessary help and take care about your medical assistance, but the student has to meet the expenses incurred. We do not offer any kind of insurance facilities, but medical check-ups and physicians visit will be done according to our norms.
  
10. How should I pay? 
Its very simple, you can pay through credit cards/wired transfer.

11. Do I need a visa, a tourist/student visa. How can I get a Student Visa or is it all right with a Tourist Visa? 
You will definitely need a Visa for India.We advice a student visa for only those who stay for more than 3 months. Note that As per Indian rules a person holding Tourist Visa is not supposed to learn or work in India. For short term students, still tourist visa is quite enough, since we put it across only as workshops on art forms. For long term students, staying for more than 3 months, we strongly suggest that you take a Student Visa.
 
12. Is the Centre open all year round? 
Yes, the centre is open round the year.

13. Is there any refund of fee if I cancel my programme before or after reaching Bhubaneswar ?
Decide on your total length of stay with enough thought. An early departure, for reasons unlike death or serious illness in family etc, is non-refundable. For the same reasons refund will be made on weeks left. If you decide to cancel before coming to Bhubaneswar, 15% of course fee will be kept with us.

14. Is it safe for youngsters for an independent living in India?
Insideorissa offers a structured, organised and supervised environment for living and learning so youngsters can always convince their parents for an independent Indian experience.

15. Is it possible to learn in the institute staying outside?
It is not possible to learn in the Institute, if you are not staying in the institute. Our institute is like a modern Gurukul where u can find almost all modern facilities and hospitality of a 3/4 star hotel within an artistic gurukul ambience.

16. can I exchange my currency easily?
 You can always change money easily in and around Bhubaneswar. Our banker  also provides  money exchange facility.

17. How different is Indian standard time from GMT?
Indian standard time is 5.30 hours ahead of GMT. When it is 2.00 pm in London it is 7.30 pm in India.

 18.what is the standard of medical facilities in Bhubaneswar?
It is upto International standards.

19.How I will reach Bhubaneswar?
The nearest International airport is Kolkata. From there you will find frequent Flights / trains to Bhubaneswar. We will help our students to reach Bhubaneswar from any airport within India on request. If you are a first timer to India then choose to come to the Institute directly on arriving in India. In other words it is better to include the stay in our institute in the first part of your stay. You may feel better equipped for the rest of your journey.
